Alan Wu Owner and doctor of ICON Chiropractic TAJCCNC President 2018-2019 Alan is a licensed Doctor of Chiropractic and Certified Functional Nutrition Practitioner. He is the owner of two clinics in San Francisco and Campbell. Alanobtained his bachelor degree of Molecular Cell Developmental Biology from UCLA in 2004 and finished his Doctor of Chiropractic training with high honor in 2011. One of his passion and lifetime goal is to bring the strong philosophical and scientific chiropractic into Taiwan medical system so to enhance Taiwan’s health care system. He joined TAJCCNC in 2014 and has been actively involved with multiple events planning since then. He really appreciated TAJCCNC provide a platform to meet like mind people and they eventually become good friends and trusted partners. As an advisor of the chapter, his goal is to provide members a resourceful environment to network, foster leadership and promote entrepreneurship. |
Sue Yang Director and curriculum developer of First Movement Music Academy TAJCCNC President 2017-2018 After 20 years of teaching, Sue Yang, the founder of First Movement Music Academy -herself a musician, music educator, curriculum developer, and a parent - has established a creative and unique bilingual music program- BamBoo preschool music curriculum in mandarin that utilizes art, sensory play and eurhythmics to immerse children in the fundamental of music without resorting to the formal rigidity of the traditional music lesson. Music is a gift and she wants to bring music to families from age 0 to 100 to share that gift with the best way she knows how, through teaching. Since joining the Taiwanese American Junior Chamber of Commerce in 2011, Sue has served as local chapter's Board of Director, SG, VP, and President; Taiwanese Junior Chamber of Commerce North America (TJCCNA) Board of Director, VP, and World Taiwanese Junior Chamber of Commerce (WTJCC) member. |
Jake Huang Owner and Acupuncturist of Pine Spring Acupuncture Clinic Prof. Corp. TAJCCNC President 2015-2016 and 2016-2017 Dr. Jake (Chung) Huang is a California licensed acupuncture practitioner and Doctor of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine with 23 years of experience in the field. With his team of doctors serving the Bay Area in two offices, his approach is not limited to clinical visits, but also gives his patients “homeworks” to do at home like Ba-Guan (Cupping), Gua-Sha (Coining) and Tui-Na (Acupressure) to reach the patient’s health goals. Daisy graduated from Rutgers University in New Jersey with a Bachelor of Science degree in Economics. For over 6 years, Daisy has been managing ASUS North America's channel marketing with major retailers such Amazon, Walmart, Best Buy etc. Daisy is also a founder of two advertising and marketing companies, plus she is a mentor to many other business professionals. Benny Shao Owner and Doctor of Benny Shao, OD, Optometric Corp TAJCCNC President 2012-2013 and 2013-2014 Dr. Benny Shao, O.D, FCOVD is a 2001 graduate of the Southern California College of Optometry and a 1997 graduate of UC Berkeley. Dr. Shao has been a part of TAJCCNC since 2010 and is passionate about keeping the passion for this organization alive. Currently he is serving as a BOD member of the senior chapter and is the liaison between the junior and senior chapters. Dr. Shao practices developmental optometry in San Jose and Fremont, offering specialty services in vision therapy for binocular vision problems, worsening nearsightedness, concussion-related vision problems, and lazy eye. He is one of a handful of optometrists in the Bay Area who is board certified in vision therapy. His passions include holistic medicine, music, social networking, and spiritual growth. |
Rita Chen TAJCCNC President 2011-2012 Raised in Taipei, Taiwan, Rita came to the US at age 18 and has been independent ever since. Rita loves socializing and networking, and believes that everything is about connections which make her connect with a lot of entrepreneurs. She has her own business with telecommunication & energy; the partner in Ding ware. Also, she currently works at Facebook as a supply/chain manager. She graduated from the State University of San Francisco with double degrees: a B.S in dietetics and a B.A in consumer family studies. Jimmy Cheng TAJCCNC President 2009-2011 Jimmy Cheng was president of TAJCCNC 2009-2011. His involvement with TAJCCNC began in 2004 when he served as the Secretary General of TACCNC under the guidance and mentorship of former president Mr. John Lin. Jimmy Cheng graduated with MBA in finance at Golden Gate University. Being an entrepreneur, he has left the corporate ladder and started up his multiple business adventure: a Hong Kong trading company, Cosmos Bright Int‘l Limited, is doing international trading business. He also become a real estate broker to serve bay area customers finding their dream homes and manage their investment. His goal with TAJCCNC is to gather young professionals to create their own financial opportunities. |
Sophie Lin Founder of TAJCCNC TAJCCNC 1st President 2005 - 2006 Ms. Sophie has a strong background as an entrepreneur and public speaker. She is currently an Unfranchise Owner with SHOP.com which specializes in social shopping with 5000+ affiliate branded stores. Sophie Lin is a partner for Pure Blendz, Inc; Partner of SPL Int'l Inc. She is the founder and first former president of TAJCCNC 2005-2006. She is president of TJCCNA 2011-2012. She coordinated a number of fashion shows and fundraisers to benefit various nonprofit organizations. Sophie earned her degree in Interior Architectural Design from Academy of Art University in San Francisco. |
